Amazon Fire Tablet

Have you got an Amazon Fire Tablet? Or do you want to get a Tablet at a "bargain" level/price?

Here are some tips & tricks that should come in handy!

I take no credit for this, I'm just creating a quick guide on how to get the Google Play Store installed on the latest Fire OS 5 for Amazon Fire tablets no PC orotherwise required.

The following was done on an Amazon Fire HD 8 (6th Generation) but should also work on any Amazon Fire tablet released from 2014 onwards (4th Generation and above) that's running Fire OS 5.

NOTE (1): To install the required APKs, you'll need a file manager, so get one from the Amazon Appstore, I recommend Total Commander - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00H4IHJ8M/

(TIP: Don't use or install any other File Explorer as it they usually don't work or can interfere with downloads and installing APKs.
An "APK" is an Application Programming Kit and at the end of this article, I will tell you how to install iTunes APK for Android which is 'barely' available for Android Phones from Apple for Commercial Reasons only on Smart Phones..)

First of all, let us finish this article:

NOTE (2): You'll also need to enable 'Apps from Unknown Sources' found under Settings > Security of the Fire OS.

(TIP: Some users recommend rebooting after enabling this option, but I didn't and had no issues.)

Now all you need to do is download the 4 APK files below using Amazon's Silk browser. Then install them in that same order, then reboot your tablet and afterwards open up the Google Play Store and log in with your Google account:

1. Google Account Manager 5.1-1743759

2. Google Services Framework 5.1-1743759

3. Google Play Services 10.0.84 (230-137749526)

4. Google Play Store 7.5.08.M-all [0] [PR] 146162341
http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-...-apk-download/

Now you should have the Google Play Store up and running.

If the above doesn't impress, how about Apple Music on 'any Android Tablet' Including the Amazon Fire and current 2017 Android Tablets!

1). You'll also need to enable 'Apps from Unknown Sources' found under Settings > Security of the Fire OS and all current Android Tablets.

2). Go to this link: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/apple-inc/apple-music/apple-music-1-2-0-release/apple-music-1-2-0-android-apk-download/. Then please, please please make sure you only click the "Download APK" approximately 8 inches down & 2 centimetres down the central Column.

3). Download & install and if you're proceeding as planned, you now have the option of both Apple Music (just done) & Spotify ( from the Play Store)
Enjoy! 🙂
